Kapu Gaison founded the premiere mud run challenge in Hawaii and grew it over the next ten years before looking to add another race to his quiver. EARTHLETE was born in Oregon in 2020 as a small event put on by friends to test out a new type of adventure race that could be affordable and accessible. Shortly thereafter, I got involved to bring the young brand to life in a more professional manner. We decided to mix technical elements with nature, developing a system that could work on the web or in the wild.
